Moppets

Today I went to a mommy's group, MOPS,
and they have a program for the kids called
Moppets. Benjamin gets to have crafts, snacks,
lessons, and games with other kids his age.
He really enjoys himself.

Grandma Dipaola Sent Benjamin a get well present.
He is still not feeling well, but his new coloring books cheered
him up.



The pages can be wiped off and reused. Very nice.

Poor Sick Buddy

Benjamin has a cold and the stomach flu. Friday
he refused all kinds of meds and liquids. He was
very listless and dehydrated. His stomach was
distended and hard and he had a 103 degree
fever. Needless to say he was miserable.

We took him to the ER. He had to have an IV of fluids
After waiting two hours in the waiting room and having
the-jerk-of-an-admitting-nurse yell at him, he was about
out of it. Poor guy. He had four x-rays because the DR
thought he sounded like croupe, but those came back fine.

After ten min. of the IV he started doing much better.

He was able to relax enough to fall asleep. He is likely to
have a fever until Mon. They think he will be back to
himself by then. I only hope so.
