Benjamin is 2 1/2 Today!!!!

Today Benjamin turned 2 1/2 years old. To celebrate
the occasion we had a half-birthday party.
For lunch he had half a french bread pizza, half an apple,
strawberry halves, and a half glass of juice.

Two and a half candles on the cake.
Half a table cloth, half plates, and half napkins- oh
and don't forget the half blown up balloons!!!!

After a rousing half-chorus of 'Happy Birthday',
Benjamin blew the candles out for half a wish.

Opening his half wrapped present.
Not half bad! Candy!

Too Many Stuffed Animals!!

Benjamin had far too many stuffed animals. So, after
playing in the large pile of them he helped me sort through
them and select two big trash bags full to give to other
kids. Now he has just his favorites to play with.

Good Pie

At the Amish resturant, Sugar and Spice.

Yummy! We brought home our blueberry crumb pie.

That was good!

March Moppets

Playing

Whew! What a wind!

Handsome boy.

Oh no the slide you sprained your
ankle on. (Nothing stops him.)

"That girl is trying to sit on me!"

"Now that is better."

baby bunny

As an Esater decoration I had a stuffed
bunny sitting out. Benjamin says it's a
baby. I asked him what its name was
and he said it was bunny. I asked him if
it was a bunny and he said, "No. It a baby
name bunny." So thats the facts on that I
guess.

Family Night

Once a month on a Sunday afternoon we
have a young family night at church.
Tonight the theme was on baptism.
I was one of the puppets in the skit and
Benjamin didn't even know it was me.
For our service project we covered devotionals
that will be handed out at Character House.

Later the kids got to take turns going on
a tour of the baptistry.

Cameron is on this side.

Benjamin came on this side with Cassie
for a less crowded view.

After the Family Night Benjamin was playing
on the playground. He tumbled down one of the
tall slides and couldn't walk on his right foot
afterwards. We took him to the ER because he
continued to favor his leg and not put weight on it.
He had a few x-rays and it was determined he had
a sprain. They had been worried that he might
have broken it. We were told to monitor his
walking for the next few days. The DR said that if
he continues to limp he will send his x-rays to a
radiologist to ensure he does not have a fracture.
In the mean time we are supposed to keep him
off of his feet. Hmmmm....wonder how that is
gonna work out?

A New Stove

After five weeks of not having a working oven,
a new stove arrives!
Benjamin helped his daddy,
great uncle Carl, and his great-grandad Fehling
remove the old one and install the new.

Supervising the removal.

Bye old oven!!!!

Big Box

Boxes provide one of the most simple pleasures
in life for a child: imagination!
Benjamin was so happy he couldn't stop grinning
when we gave him the stove box to play with. And
when he found out he could color on it there was
no stopping his fun!

Cameron's 3rd B-day

Benjamin went to Cameron's third birthday party.
Cameron loves trains too so he had a train theme.

Look! Cousin Kelsea has arrived!

Time to color some trains.

The birthday boy with his train cake.

Eating cake and ice cream.

Funny daddy and pretty Kelsea.

Wow! Nice bike!

All of the little birthday guests.

Playing with his cousin.

Free time.

This is funny. Benjamin noticed his shadow was
chasing him around the yard.
