Benjamin had been sick with a cold and he was having trouble sleeping lying down. He curled up on the couch by himself and slept for hours.

Progressive dinner

The youth group has a yearly progressive dinner and we had the salad portion of the meal. We traveled on to the rest of the houses. Benjamin was cutting teeth and did not enjoy the evening at all. At the last house was dessert. He would not eat a bite of ice cream (which he loves). As everyone sang Christmas carols he was calm and amused.

After the progressive dinner Benjamin was in a much better mood and wanted to play before bed. 

OH, DEAR!

Benjamin was sitting in a puddle outside and as I was snapping the picture he leaned down and slurped up the water. I was shocked he would even think to do such a thing!

Benjamin carried this red sheet around on his head for a long time. If it would slip he would put it right back on.
