Sprout Club-Water

Today we took Benjamin to Selby Gardens
so he could go to the Sprout Club class
for toddlers. Today was the first class of the
year and they learned about water.

Kathy and her two girls were there as well.

He is usually very shy around strangers, so
I was pleasantly surprised when he went
right up and stood by the teacher the whole time.

They were seeing what happens when a
cotton ball gets wet like a cloud. Benjamin
held his up as the example.

Benjamin and Abby saw what happened
when they put ice and rocks in the water.

Water Fight!

We were right next to the butterfly garden
which is always so much fun for Benjamin.

It was a better view from Uncle Kenny's
shoulders.

All Children's Hospital

We had to take Benjamin to St.Pete
for his bladder test. They were checking
to see if his hydronyphrosis was getting
any worse. The test took about 45 min and
was painful.

Thankfully we received WONDERFUL news!
He is doing better than they thought! AND,
he no longer has to take daily antibiotics.

The best news of all was that he never has to
have that test again! They said that if his kidneys
are not refluxing now, they never will.

This is great news! He now only has to go in for
routine ultrasounds every six months to monitor
his condition. That will be a piece of cake!

Yeah!

That was tiring!

Grandpa Akers' 50th Birthday Party

Benjamin got to go for a swim in Grandpa's
new pool.

At first he just watched Connor and Cassidy
swimming, and then he just went for it!

Good-bye kisses.
He needed daddy's hand to be
comfortable on the way home.
